Prepare an upload
Compress a short clip and review the output size and quality before replacing the original.
Reduce video size, convert common containers, or extract an existing subtitle track as SRT. Compression and conversion default to native cloud processing, while subtitle extraction stays local by default. You can choose either mode before starting.

Use video compression when an upload or message has a file-size limit. Use video conversion when a player, editing tool, or publishing platform needs another container such as MP4 or WebM. Re-encoding may change both picture quality and file size; a new extension alone does not guarantee compatibility.
Subtitle Extraction can export subtitle tracks already embedded in a video. It cannot create captions from spoken audio. If no subtitle track is present, use a transcription workflow instead of repeatedly trying to extract one.
Organized around real tasks
Compress a short clip and review the output size and quality before replacing the original.
Convert a supported source when the destination requires a different video container.
Extract an existing subtitle stream and save it as a separate subtitle file when the source contains one.
Confirm the extension, file size, and whether the video contains the track you need.
Compress for smaller delivery, convert for container compatibility, or extract subtitles for an existing text track.
Compare playback, quality, and subtitle timing before using the new file elsewhere.
Not necessarily. Many conversions re-encode the video, which can change quality, size, codec, or playback compatibility. Keep the source until you have checked the result.
No. It extracts an existing subtitle track. Speech-to-text transcription is a separate capability and is not part of this tool.
A short sample lets you check quality and format compatibility before a longer job. Local mode uses device memory; cloud mode adds upload and queue time and limits source video to 50 MiB and 10 minutes.
Compress when the file is too large. Convert when the destination rejects the current container. Conversion alone may not reduce file size.
